Katie hadde sin første dag på jobb mandag 3. september 2018 og vil være en sentral og brobyggende person for alle som besøker og jobber på Madserud Gård.

Hi, I’m Katie, Community Builder at Madserud Gård. I am so excited to be a part of Oslo’s first PropTech hub.
I grew up just outside of Chicago and attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where I earned a Bachelors in Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcast and a minor in Communications. It’s safe to say I’m a people person.
I worked for 6 years as a producer at local news stations in Milwaukee, Orlando and St. Louis.
I worked as a marketing executive for a Healthcare company for 3 years and I have several years experience in the service industry (everything from hostess to server to bartender to manager).
I enjoy providing great hospitality and I did so in my previous position as Community Coordinator at Pier X Venture Hub in Oslo. I will continue to do so at Madserud Gård!
I moved to Norway in 2012 and can speak and write Norwegian. So when we meet, feel free to use either language.
In my free time, you’ll often find me running with my dog. She has helped me train for 8 out of 9 of my half marathons. I am a huge Green Bay Packers fan and know way too much about American football.
I love to cook and travel. Since I came to Norway I have visited at least one new country every year.
As Community Manager at Madserud Gård, I will work to create an exciting, collaborative and fun workspace where members will get to know each other, help each other and support each other. We will have fun and get great work done.
